Rose Riley

Rose played Luciana in The Comedy of Errors at the Bishop’s Palace in 2022.

She first trod the boards as an actor, aged 8, in the annual school play ‘Babushka, The Musical’ (a questionable take on the nativity). Dressed in leopard-print trousers, a velure orange tank top and doing her best Ruby Wax impression, Rose knew it was the thespian life for her. Whilst, alas, the leopard-print trousers no longer fit and she has yet to see her comedy idol in the flesh, Rose has been lucky enough to pursue a career in the arts that has seen her work as an actor, producer, assistant director, theatre-maker, podcaster and in pretty much anything that has storytelling at its heart. She is often in Ireland visiting family in Cork City and loves a swim in the Atlantic followed by the pub more than most things.

Stage credits include: Hamnet, Royal Shakespeare Company; The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, London’s West End; Tiger Country, Hampstead Theatre; One Minute, The Vaults; Re:Home, The Yard Theatre; Grafting, Streatham Arts Space.

Screen credits include: Call The Midwife, Life After Life and Doctors (BBC).
