Jonathan played Egeon, Luce and Officer in The Comedy of Errors at the Bishop’s Palace in 2022.

Recent Theatre credits includes Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing opposite David Tennant & Catherine Tate in London’s West End; Demetrius in Jonathan Miller’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Almeida Theatre; The Dauphin in King John in BBC tv’s Complete Works Cycle. Recently seen as the returning character George Murray in the film Downton Abbey 2 and as Judge Aled Luckhurst in the Netflix series Anatomy of a Scandal. 

And a guilty secret… he is about to celebrate a real-life 25th Wedding Anniversary with…the formidable Emma Amos who plays The Abbess!
